Spiderous-Man On The “America-Man: Civil Unrest” Trailer (Censored)

ccc-spiderousmantemplate

Looks like Spiderous-Man has finally made it!… Yeah we’ll see where that goes. So this is all referencing the big reveal of Spider-Man at the end of the new “Captain America: Civil War” trailer.  If you somehow haven’t see it here’s a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKrVegVI0Us .

In the middle there’s a whole bit that references the “Madd Rapper skit” the begins in the song “Kick In The Door” by Biggie. Here’s a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNwvHEme_JE

Also if you don’t watch “Broad City” here’s a clip with the “I rich” singing bit.  The whole thing is worth watching but that part specifically starts about 33 second in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_p77im07RsE .

If you don’t “I’m rich bitch” then I just feel bad for you… Well we’ll check in again on Spiderous-Man tomorrow.  Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Flint Henry is based on Fletcher Hanks.  Fletcher Hanks was an artist in the very early days of comics who wrote and drew some really whacked out stories.

The site “Dangerous Minds” has an article ( which you can check out here http://dangerousminds.net/comments/the_astonishingly_incompetent_superhero ) that describes how “Hanks drew superhero comics for a terribly short time—1939 to 1941—before dropping off the map altogether. It’s a bit of a miracle that we have so many of his comics in print, and much of that is due to the heroic labors of Paul Karasik”.  It adds that “In 2007 Karasik publishedI Shall Destroy All The Civilized Planets!” and in 2009You Shall Die By Your Own Evil Creation!“” which collects pretty much all of his comics.  The article also states that “I Shall Destroy All The Civilized Planets”  “contains a 16-page comic by Karasik about discovering Hanks’ work and meeting with his (it turns out) estranged son”.  This story clearly shows that Hanks was an abusive drunk, who ended up abandoning his family and freezing to death.

The article goes on to add that “Hanks’ work had two primary characters, “Stardust the Super Wizard” and “Fantomah the Mystery Woman of the Jungle,” and a host of less interesting characters like Space Smith, Big Red McLane, and Whirlwind Carter”.  In the article Karasik is quoted as saying that “part of the fascination Hanks exerts is that he is a rare early case of a true auteur, a comics artist who “wrote, penciled, inked, lettered, and, I think, colored his work”.

I’ve read I Shall Destroy All The Civilized Planets!” and “You Shall Die By Your Own Evil Creation! and honestly I think only the Stardust comics are even “so crazy their good” good, and even those start to get stale especially when Stardust gets a bunch of kid sidekicks.  Still there’s something interesting about seeing these angry weird tales  that were made before the “rules” for making comics were established.

Anyways that’s that for this week. Next time we see Flint Henry’s Q-boy story.  Tuesday- Thurday there will be new Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations.  Hope you enjoy and see ya next time!

Drizzle On Being Told She’s Too Ratchet And Has An Attitude (Censored)

Storm is someone who is often portrayed as someone who is very reserved (especially in the Fox animated series), so I figured I’d make my version of Storm the opposite.  So I channel some “Love And Hiphop” and “Bad Girls Club” and voila you have Drizzle. That’s it for this week!  See ya next Tuesday through Thursday for more Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations!

Ms. Majors On Succubus Of The Fresh-Men (Censored)

ccc-msmajorstemplate

So for Ms. Majors I figured since there was black woman who was Captain Marvel and a white woman is Captain Marvel (formerly Ms. Marvel) now I’d sorta combine the two and make Ms. Major half black and half white.  The last comic explained the situation the with Ms. Marvel and Rogue.  Not much more to add here.  Tomorrow Drizzle expresses her feelings on people’s opinions about her attitude… I doubt she’s pleased… See ya tomorrow!

Succubus On Her Powers/ Ms. Majors

ccc-succubustemplate

Succubus here is basically Rogue from the X-men, and the story in this comic is based on the story of what happened between her and Ms. Marvel (now Captain Marvel).  If you don’t know the story its pretty much explained in this youtube clip from X-men: The Animated Series (one of the greatest cartoons ever btw) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8k7hlN5l9w .

I always found it funny that Rogues whole deal is that she can’t touch people but for a loooong time she wore a skin tight latex outfit as her costume and when she wasn’t wearing that she was wearing literally as little as the comic books were allowed with getting away with.  Gotta love comics! Tomorrow we’ll see Ms. Majors side of the story. See ya then!

Q-boy Short #47 Trading Up Or Down Depending On How You Look At It / The History Of Q-boy Part 45 (Censored)

So Q-boy dumps Miss Direction and finds a new girlfriend in Muffina Winters.  So if you’ve been reading these comics for a while I’ve been hinting around with this character for a while (specifically in these comics http://qr.net/bzznB & http://qr.net/bzzma ).  So yeah she’s basically this universe’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Each panel of this comic is based on covers drawn by John Romita Sr. (who Paulie Damiko is based on).

That’s pretty much it. Next time Eddy meets the drunken master and tried to recruit him. Also new Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations Tuesday-Thursday. Hope you enjoy and see ya next time!
