I messed up in yesterday’s comic. Special-Girl says something about the country Niger being on Trump’s travel ban and it’s actually the country Chad. Besides just bashing Trump which is good thing to do in and of itself I wanted to show that he’s not just a terrible president and a terrible person he’s a loser. A loser who’s only success comes from laundering the money or mobsters and dictators. At best he’s too dumb to know, but more than likely he’s just smart enough to know it’s wrong but doesn’t care. Sure I know I’m preaching to the choir…But hey, the choirs need sermons too…

There’s this song that’s been getting some buzz that I heard about last week. It’s called “Spar” by Dreezy ft. 6LACK & Kodak Black. The main part drawing attention is the part in the hook that goes “n’ if I go to DC I’m tyrna spar with Trump”. This is the inspiration today and tomorrow’s comic. Though I still kinda try I don’t keep up with music like I use to so I don’t know any of these artists. I’ve heard of Kodak Black though. The song itself is pretty good until the 3rd verse with is just awful (is that Kodak Black). Seriously it’s so bad it ruins the whole song. The beat is pretty hard too. It makes me mad I can’t find the instrumental.

Tomorrow the 3 have a lively debate of on the Trump presidency as it currently stands… Nah it’s actually more of this. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

I had my doubts… I thought this might be the one “Marvel Studios” blows. Then yesterday I saw the new “Black Panther” trailer… And it shut me the hell up. When it comes to movie maybe just maybe I can blindly trust “Marvel”. (I’ll never actually blindly trust anything but you get the idea). Seriously though, THAT’S a good trailer. Bravo!

Going from good to bad, I saw this week’s “Supergirl”. Last week I said something about why I like when the “CW” “DC Comics” shows focus on fighting villain and not other stuff. I came to the conclusion that these shows and the acting on them just weren’t good enough for actual drama and stuff. This week’s episode of “Supergirl” was a prime example. There’s a part where “Supergirl” is crying because she felt like the let the guy who was banging her last season die. It’s not convincing. Also they were annoyingly gross couple so I don’t care anyways. Also “Lena Luthor” bought “CatCo”… That’s pretty random and stupid. Just have her fight villains and drop all this nonsense. Or better yet, as I’ve suggested before, scrap the show altogether and put her “Legends Of Tomorow”. That would be SO much better

Tomorrow Admiral Star takes the The Good Knight’s place as she once again begs for help against Red Witch (once again tying in with my side project “An October Surprise: A Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations Gaiden” which you can check out every day throughout October). So again I’m tieing into the a side project I’m doing as part of Inktober, Drawtober, and Drawlloween called “An October Surprise: A Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations Gaiden” whichs updates everyday throughout October). Had a lot of trouble with writing the 11th entry in this project. So far this project has been the hardest writing and drawing challenge I tried to do. If you know “DBZ” it’s like my personal hyperbolic time chamber.

At the same time it is truly fun though.

The week the “CW” “DC Comics” started their new season. So far I’ve seen “Supergirl”, “The Flash”, and “Legends Of Tommorow”… Gotta say not great starts for any of them. I think I’ve determined that I pretty much just want these guys to fight villains. Everything else is just a waste of time. I think the underlining problem is these shows just aren’t THAT good. The acting just isn’t good enough by any one on any of them for them to waste time anything else. The best example is “The Flash”. When “Gustin Grant” plays anything other than just the normal version of “Barry/The Flash” it’s not convincing. This is something I think I need to get more into later. One last thing about “The Flash” though, “Caitlyn” is now the “Hulk”?! (She even basically steals the “you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry” line). Ew!

Wow. I gotta admit that doing this side project for Inktober/Drawtober/Drawlloween in addition to these comics may be getting to me. This comic is actually suppose to be tommorow’s comic 😂. Fortunately, the order of the first 2 comics this week doesn’t matter that much. The comic that was intended for today would’ve been slightly more topical today because it mentions “SNL”, but eff it!

Moving on, over the weekend we go the trailers for “Runaways” on Hulu and a new “Justice League” trailer. “Runaways” looks pretty cool, but that comic is awesome so that’s no surprise. The new “Justice League” trailer though… Is it possible this might actually be good? Could it actually rise above the mediocre at best “DC” movies. Don’t get me wrong it still seems to have all the same problems I’ve mentioned before, but it had little moments that give it hope. The little moment where “Cyborg” catches “Aquaman” being the biggest.

I didn’t know “X-men” related show “The Gifted” came out this week so I missed it. If I remember to watch it tonight I’ll probably talk about it tomorrow. What I’m going to get into today is “Marvel Legacy” which came out last week.

There’s an article on CBR.com that compares it to DC’s “Rebirth” initiative/comic. It was this article if you care http://www.cbr.com/marvel-legacy-dc-rebirth-comparison/. The suggestion is that “Marvel” at least somewhat “copied” “Rebirth”. It really didn’t though. They have a similar tone. Actually the “Rebirth” comic was a lot better. I hate that “Doctor Manhattan” from “Watchmen” was used, but it was a well written comic that hit you in the feels with the return of “Wally West”.

“Legacy”, on the other hand another one of “Marvel’s” typical “nice resets” after a “dark event”. Also it’s less an actual story and bits and piece of what’s coming up in “Marvel” titles. They include:

  • “Avengers: 1,000,000 BC” which I’ve talked about before. Still seems stupid but the art is nice
  • “Star Brand” and “Ghost Rider” fighting over something that might have something to do with “Avengers: 1,000,000 BC”… Stop trying to make “Star Brand” (or any “New Universe” characters for that matter) happen “Marvel
  • The unsurprising return of “Tony Stark”
  • “Deadpool” killing “Phil Coulson” or something and being hunted for it
  • “Falcon” becoming the “Falcon” again
  • The real “Wolverine” being back with an “Infinity Gem” for some reason
  • And a big tease about the return of “The Fantastic Four” that I have the overwhelming feeling it going to lead to nothing. I hope I’m wrong and “Marvel” is brighter than that

Overall it was kinda “meh”. Tomorrow Admiral Star shows up to tie with my “Intober/ Drawtober/ Drawlloween” project “An October Surprise: A Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations Gaiden”. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

I knew this going to happen… I’ve ragged on the “Inhumans” a lot. Generally I find them to be pretty boring characters. And I HATE Marvel’s attempt to use them in place of the “X-men”, and my God did I hate them on “Agents Of Shield”. “Shield” being show I hate watch purely as a test of endurance at this point. IN-HATIN’ just seems like “Marvel” had been trying to shove these characters down our throats for the last 10 years. Admittedly, I did see a motion comic of the “Inhumans” “Marvel Knights” series that was pretty good though.

It  started when the first trailer for the “Inhumans” show came out and people were like “IT’S WORSE THAN AIDS”! I saw and it thought it seemed okay. Then the first 2 episodes were put in “IMAX” theatres for some reason. That was definitely a poor decision. People reactions were “MARVEL FAILS AND DC WINS BY DEFAULT NOW”!!!! That’s when I knew… I was probably going to have to defend “Inhumans”. It probably wasn’t going to be that bad…

I can’t even express how much I hate the world for forcing me to do this… “Inhumans” was okay. I’d go as far as saying it “borders on good”. This is world that has shows like “Shield” and “Gotham”. If you can stomach either of those shows “Inhumans” ain’t bad at all. This show’s actually interesting and has likeable characters. That’s more than can say about a lot of show that get nowhere near the hate this one is getting.

Tomorrow Drizzle is switched out for Hazard Hands and he give his two cents. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

As I mentioned before, “Perfect” Spiderous-Man is my version of “Miles Morales/Ultimate Spider-Man”. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do with him. Suddenly it hit me. He should be the nice kid who gets famous and goes completely off the rails. He should look like a mumble rapper, hang out with thugs, and always be on a combination of several drugs. He should be the guy who seems like he’s determined to die broke. Since I established a while ago that this character owned the “Spiderous-Man name” this makes sense cause a lot of the time this is what happens to kids who get sudden fame and money. Spiderous-Man is a loser who can’t win despite his best efforts. “Perfect” Spiderous-Man is a winner who can’t lose despite his best efforts… Until he does…
