Yep those were the guys in the tubes in Dr. Ahfizzinutt’s lab seen as far back as The Bastardized Ninja #7 (or the censored one) as well as #31 (and the censored one). If the second to last panel looks familiar that’s because it’s based on N.W.A’s “Straight Outta Compton” album cover.
Where do the Opposite Numbers go from here? Guess we’ll see in season 2. Speaking of which I just finished the last page of what will be season 1. It was a complex piece, but very fun to do.
