Well looks like our boy Kanye has put on a few. If you donât know a picture came out late last week of Kanye looking fat in some beat up dirty clothes and smiling. People are assuming the weight gain is from anti-depressants. This is also assuming Kanye âwent crazyâ a while back. I donât know if he did or didnât but he seemed no crazier than heâs ever been. To paraphrase the man himself from a song â[heâs] been out [his] mind a long timeâ. Personally, I think he faked the whole thing to get out his tour and because even he realized that rant he did about Jay-Z and Beyonce was a bad idea.
So as I shamefully revealed before I watch âTMZ Liveâ and it seems like every other week they have some story about how Kanye is âbetterâ or âbackâ or âhappy nowâ. Always based on basically nothing. âOh look he smiledâ! Why wouldnât he be smiling?! He RICH! The question is why he was ever so mad for so long. All Iâm saying is letâs see what he says or does before claiming anything about his mental state. Like I wrote in the comic Trump smiles sometimes too and heâs a sociopath.
Tomorrow Spiderous-Man and Pussy Whip are subbed out for Admiral Star. The Minstrel tries to get a âpictureâ of her psychological state to see if she should join The American World Protectors Of America. You should assume things donât go as planned. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

If you didnât know last Saturday was âBatman Dayâ. This year because itâs the 25th anniversary of the character âHarley Quinnâ took over âBatman Dayâ. She was subbed in for other characters in famous and iconic âBatmanâ covers and generally given at least equal billing to âBatmanââĤ Itâs kinda messed up. She should have a big thing on the anniversary of then the first episode of âBatman: The Animated Seriesâ with her in it, but she shouldnât horn in on âBatmanâ day.
She already an over-used and not particularly well used character character as it is. The comics I see with her in it suck. The âSuicide Squadâ movie sucked, and I havenât seen it but the direct to DVD movie âBatman And Harley Quinnâ is generally seen as sucking. Speaking of sucking someone rented âWonder Womanâ so I saw it a 3rd timeâĤ Yeah still C+ at best.

Iâll never get tired of Slowku being dumb. One thing I wanted to set up in this comic is that Slowku and Special-Manâs dads knew each other. At some point I want to explain the connections between them and Q-boy and why all of these alien characters are on Earth.
On an entirely different note October is coming up and with it are drawing challenges where you draw something every day such as Inktober. I have the beginnings of an idea for something special I want to do for it. This might be too nutty even for me though, but weâll seeâĤ

So we got into a bunch of Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz confusion in this one. I went into the whole thing going on in âSupermanâ comics with this âMr. Ozâ guy being âJor-Elâ before. Seems pretty stupid, but whatever. Iâm going to switch gears and talk about âSecret Empireâ.
Last week âSecret Empire: Omegaâ came out. I guess this is the end of this never-ending crossover for real this time. ThisâĤ This one hurts. Most crossovers suck, but they have good art or good fights or something. This one mostly had art that didnât fit at all and REALLY ham-fisted politics. The art would be great for some âcrimeâ comic. This is superhero comic though.
I think the biggest thing thatâs dumb about this is that something big is not really addressed at all. âGoodâ âCaptain Americaâ isnât real. Heâs some girlâs memory of the guy. The real âCaptain Americaâ is still alive and still evil. They could make something interesting out of this, but knowing comics they almost certainly wonât. Also they killed off âBlack Widowâ but theyâre already hinting that she alive.
Tomorrow The Good Knight is replaced by Slowku as they continue to talk about dads. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

This comic is about some stuff going on mainly in recent âSupermanâ comics. Thereâs been this mysterious guy running about the âDC Universeâ called âMr. Ozâ. Since âDCâ started this whole âRebirthâ thing thereâs been references to âWatchmenâ. Specifically âDr. Manhattanâ and âThe Comedianâsâ button. (It must be pointed out that all of this is comic book blasphemy by that way). Naturally if you know âWatchmenâ youâd figure âMr. Ozâ is âOzymandiasâ or some other âWatchmenâ characterâĤ Nope, itâs âJor-Elâ. Apparently âSupermanâsâ dad (or if theyâre really lame âsome verisionâ of him) is evil and hate humanity now.
I guess the burden of being 1% better than âMarvelâ was too much and they want to give that up nowâĤ It was good runâĤ Okay maybe thereâs some possibility of this being good. Personally I doubt it though. What do you think?

Have you ever seen someone about to do something dumb and something told you to try and stop them? Your instinct is to just mind your own business and move on, but something makes you fight it. For me that thought is almost always a mistake. One thing Iâve seem to have learned is that people are going to what theyâre going to do. You can tell them exactly why what theyâre doing is dumb and exactly what they should instead and 90% of the time they donât listen. Worse yet sometimes they get mad at you for. Thatâs kinda what I tried to convey with Freedom Female in this comic.

One thing this comic gets into is that not too long ago âBatmanâ met the alternate reality version of his dad. He was from the âFlashpointâ world (which shouldnât exist because itâs an alternate timeline that was erased not another universe butâĤcomics). In the âFlashpointâ world âBruce Wayneâsâ dad becomes âBatmanâ after âBruceâ is killed by criminals. His mom also becomes âThe Jokerâ. People generally seem to like this idea, but I find it completely ridiculous.
I think itâs even worse that âBatmanâ and âDad Batmanâ actually met. The whole point of âBatmanâ is that he represent a childâs reaction to losing his parents. Itâs a kid saying âno one will ever die againâ and meaning it. This is also why itâs so important that âBatmanâ doesnât kill.
An adult wouldnât have the same reaction, and even his they did they wouldnât EXACTLY the same thing. âBatmanâ used his childhood fear of bats as weapon. Why would his dad do the same thing? What Iâm getting at is he would at least have a different gimmick. Maybe rabid squirrels or something?
