Alright let’s get to Lex Luthor in “Batman V Superman”…. Yeah he sucks…. Like every single line and everything he does sucks.  Such a terrible miscasting. Oh yeah I hear today the home release of Batman V Superman is gonna be a half hour longer.   Why?! The movie is already like an hour too long and filled with fat that should’ve been trimmed in the editing process. Seriously though, “Age Of Ultron” is under 2 and a half hours and there’s waaaay more characters (a few too many but its still pretty good and infinitely better than BvS) and waaay more happens. Smh…

Special-Man, Freedom Female, & The Good Knight On “Special-Man V The Good Knight: Rise Of America’s Protectors” (Censored)

Before I go into “Batman V Superman” how’d ya’ll like that episode of Supergirl with The Flash (and more importantly the comic related to it I posted last night you can check it out here if you missed it https://qboyandtheninja.com/2016/03/28/ccc22/ and here the sound enhanced Flipagram version https://flipagram.com/f/mj1wM7iW9E )?

Personally I thought it was kinda mediocre.  Everything got resolved way too easily and I saw all the best parts in preview clips of the show.  That being said, it was nice just to see the two together and it was definitely a nice way to wash out the horrible taste of “Batman V Superman”.

Alright, I’ve already said the movie sucked, but it really can’t be said enough.  To be as fair as possible I’ll start with the good things…………………. Um…. The new Batmobile looks cool….. And there a Batman scene near the end where he fights a bunch of guys that’s by far the best part in the whole movie despite the fact that Batman murders several people. Even if the movie didn’t go out of its way to violate the very nature of the title characters it still would be a disjointed, mostly boring mess.  It takes waaaay to long to get to the actual fight and the fight is pretty underwhelming. The reason they stop fighting is laughably stupid, and the big fight in the end is a terrible CG mess that you MIGHT have been able to get away with 5 years ago. I’ll save more ranting for tomorrow cuz I ain’t done yet. Tomorrow Freedom Female gets some advice from Special-Girl and Pussy Whip on dealing with being in bad movies. Good evening folks!  This is a special Monday edition of Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations in honor of the big team-up of Supergirl and The Flash on the Supergirl show tonight.  This comic was inspired by the episode of Supergirl where red kryptonite makes her evil (and way cooler for most of the episode).  I just thought “what if she had a tiny amount to make her less uptight and less of a pushover”.  I felt similar when Spider-man got the black costume in “Spider-man 3” and he at least stopped letting everyone push him around.

Moving on, I saw Batman V Superman on Saturday and wow…. What a spectacular failure that was… It SO bad on so many levels. What a joyless, colorless, humorless film with not a trace of fun.  I think I’ll go more into it later this week but yeah it was terrible.

I hear there’s this Daredevil show on Netflix… Seriously though between Daredevil coming back last week, Batman V Superman this week, and the big Supergirl and Flash team-up next week we’re reaching comic Nirvana. Sadly, I’ve actually only seen the first episode of Daredevil so far (and yes it is great).  I’m actually still watching House Of Cards and slowly catching up on Orphan Black (got about 3 episodes left)… Oh and I was originally gonna wait until it was dubbed but I started on Dragon Ball Super (about 13 or so episodes in).

Eddy finds a new ally and begins a journey to find 7 great artists.  So this is a whole take off on Deathrow Records in the 90’s and some infamous things that happened during that time.  A great movie about it (and one I specifically re-watched for reference) is the documentary “Welcome To Deathrow”.  Next time Eddy goes in search of, and tries to recruit the first of the 7 artists known as “The Teacher”.

Oh yeah did anyone check out Supergirl?  So far its surprisingly good, and a lot better than I expected from the previews of it.  Anyways hope you enjoy and see ya next time!

So what’s this one all about you might ask.  Well this one is referencing a guy named Bill Finger who co-created Batman, and may have done a lot of the heavy lifting in that but isn’t given as well known as he should be and wasn’t given much of the credit.  The big panel at the end is based on the cover of a comic where Superman and Shazam fought as shown below…

Another comic that recently did a homage to this cover is The Hero Business. Click the link check it out.  We’ll definitely be seeing more of Kill-Man (and Q-girl getting drunk) over time.  Next time we’ll find out who “The Emperor” and “The Guy” are, and we’ll sorta meet a new character… Oh and a certain monster that appeared once before returns.  Seriously though should it be “Kill-man” and “The Kill-man”?  Anyways hope you enjoy and see ya next time.
