This panel mimics the cover to “Green Lantern” 75 by artist Gil Kane. You can check it out here http://bit.ly/gl75cover . “Green Lantern” 75 is significant because it is the last issue before the title started a classic run. The title was then written by Dennis O’Neil with art by Neal Adams.

“Green Arrow” was also added to the book as co-star. According to “Wikipedia” this is also seen as part of the end of the Silver Age of Comics.

That’s really it for this week. On Monday we return with another panel from “The History Of Comics With Q-boy” 64. After that check out new “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” on Tuesday-Thursday. Finally next Friday you’ll get the complete “The History Of Comics With Q-boy” 64 comic. Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #169 – Special-Girl, Q-boy & Jade Archer On Special-Girl’s New Costume

Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #169 –

Special-Girl, Q-boy & Jade Archer On Special-Girl’s New Costume

ccc-169-specialgirlczarqboyjadearchertemplate2-01

When super-heroines turn evil they almost alway get a more revealing outfit. As this comic implies, the “Invisible Woman” got a costume with a boob window after turning evil in the 90’s. She had an even more revealing costume when she was evil. “Mary Marvel” got a shorter skirt when she turned evil. “Jean Grey” got corrupted by “The Hellfire Club” which led her to becoming “Dark Phoenix”. For some reason there all the ladies walk around in lingerie.

I figured Special-Girl’s outfit considering her position should be “converative”. Remember the bizzare thing Kelly Anne Conway wore during the Inauguration? I tried to mixed that with a Russian-style military uniform. Then I topped it off with the Russian hat to amp up the ridiculousness.

That’s it for this week! Tommorow you’ll see the 2nd panel to “The History Of Comics With Q-boy 64” and Monday you’ll get panel 3. Check out new “Criminal And Crimefigher Conversations Tuesdays-Thursday. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Special-Girl, J-Pop & Succubus On Special-Girl’s New Costume

There’s more dealing with Special-Girl calling J-Pop and going shopping with Succubus. These stories are in comics I’m saving for books or when I start a Patreon page. Special-Girl also calls someone else as well…

So I’m watching “Supergirl” as I’m working on this comic and it occurs to me… “Jimmy Olsen” might be the problem. The show seemed a little better than normal and I noticed that “Jimmy” hadn’t appeared. He might have though, I only “half watch” it. Also there was none of the stupid reporter stuff. Again I gotta say just have her work for the DEO, fight bad guys, and have a “big bad” for the season.

Tomorrow Q-boy and Jade Archer talk with Special-Girl about her new threads. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #167 – Special-Girl, Q-boy & Quickie On Fitting In

Special-Girl, Q-boy & Quickie On Fitting Inccc-167-specialgirlczarqboyquiuckietemplate2-01

As Jade Archer suggested in a previous comic Special-Girl has a new “dark” costume. Yep folks Special-Girl has gone to the dark side as Trump’s Czar of Superpowered Bitches.

Speaking of Jade Archer let’s talk some “Arrow”. For a while thougt “Arrow” was the best of the “DC” “CW” shows. Now I have to say “Legends Of Tomorrow” holds that title. “Supergirl” now edges out “The Flash” as the worst. For me “Arrow” took a slight dip with the whole “we need a new “Black Canary” thing. Sorry can’t buy it. Either bring back Laurel or don’t. I don’t particularly care either way, but we don’t need a 3rd “Black Canary”. Also it was way too convienient that they happened to find yet another person with a “sonic scream”. With that said, the last episode was pretty good. It handled gun control about as well as a “very special” episode could.

Tomorrow Special-Girl is back with J-Pop and Succubus of The Fresh-Men. She gets to talk about her new costume without being outright dismissed this time. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

All this time and only 1 panel?! Sorry this comic has been so long delayed. It seems like between the holiday comic and the hourly comics I did there always seemed to be something in the way of doing this comic. This whole comic is actually finished but I’m going to try to something different. I’m going to start releasing this comic one panel at a time. Normally this comic is four panels. l’ll release one panel Monday, one on Friday, one the next Monday, and the full comic the next Friday.

When we last left this comic Q-boy’s ex-girlfriend Helen Seabrook AKA Miss Direction suddenly got her powers back. She and Q-boy then got back together. Unknown to them it was Dr. Do who gave her back her powers and used the same process to increase Q-boy’s enemy Kill-Man’s power. All of this is leading to the end of the Silver Age of Comics for Q-boy. This comic is based on the cover to “Fantastic Four #102” which you can see here http://bit.ly/ff102cover . This issue of “Fantastic Four” is significant because according to “Wikipedia” it is considered the end of the Silver Age of Comics  to Silver Age historian Craig Shutts as it was “ Jack Kirby’s last regular-run issue before the artist left to join DC Comics”.

Oh and what Q-ball said is “hello friends. I have not appeared in a long time. I hope I survive. Otherwise this comic’s disturbing lack of diversity will be even worse”.

Check out new “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” on Tuesday-Thursday and the next panel of this comic on Friday. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #166 – Special-Girl, Freedom Female & Spiderous-Man On Love & Friendship Again

Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #166 –

Special-Girl, Freedom Female & Spiderous-Man On Love & Friendship Again

ccc-166-specialgirlfreedomfemaleandspiderous-mantemplate-01

Poor Special-Girl. She is now isolated by her position. Even clowning Spiderous-Man could not bring her and Freedom Female together. Where does she go from here?

The “Supergirl” show is still pretty weak. At this point I have to ask the question: do we need “Jimmy Olsen” at all?

  • In season 1 it was all about the “will they/won’t they” bang thing. That is over now so…
  • The whole “Guardian” things is stupid. At least it’s not a secret anymore. That’s was annoying as hell.

In fact I almost question if they should drop “CatCo” and the whole secret identity stuff all togehter.

  • The only point of “CatCo” was for “Alley McBeal” to say bitchy stuff to “Kara”, but “Alley McBeal” ain’t on the show anymore so…
  • The whole reporter thing is stupid and “Snapper Carr” is a dick. And not in an entertaining way.

Why can’t she just work for the “DEO”? They could make some of the agents new supporting cast members to replace “Wynn” and “Jimmy”. Also “Mon-El” and “Ms. Martian” could have bigger roles.

Still the best option is to put “Supergirl” on “Legends Of Tomorrow”.

That’s it for this week! Check out new “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations on Tuesday-Thursday. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #165 – Special-Girl, Freedom Female & Spiderous-Man On Love & Friendship

Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #165 –

Special-Girl, Freedom Female & Spiderous-Man On Love & Friendship

ccc-165-specialgirlfreedomfemaleandspiderous-mantemplate-01

Originally I was going to have Q-girl in this comic as well, but I saw that this one was already running long and I didn’t think she was going to add anything important. My first thought about Q-girl and Spiderous-Man meeting again after hooking up (and him catching an alien STD off her) during “The Utterly Insane 25 Hourly Comics Shebangabang” was that it would be a huge confrontation with yelling and screaming. Then I thought about it some more and thought “no the whole point is Spiderous-Man is a loser who lets people push him around. What if they became this really unhealthy couple”?

That there captures the fun of these comics for me. “Spider-Man” will never catch an STD, but Spiderous-Man will. If most of the first year of this comic was about recurring themes like “Special-Girl is addicted to “Synthetic Destroyer Element”” then this year is about expanding those themes into full blown storylines.  Ones where I’m not even sure where they’re going.

Tomorrow we’ll see these 3 again continue talking about Spiderous-Man and Q-girl’s new relationship. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!
