Special-Girl, Quickie & Apex On Apex’s Movie & Other Stuff

So I saw “Logan”. Wow, that was a grim movie. Great though, but very grim. Like I said with “Star Wars: Rogue One” it’s a true “Trump era” movie. The heroes are pretty much dead. The few that remain have become crippled and broken. Our hero once known as “The Wolverine” now does a menial job to be able to afford drugs to care for “Professor X”.

As crappy as that setup is it gets worse. This is movie where suicide is more than a viable option. It’s actually more humane than the alternative, and this applies to several characters. In this movie nice gestures get rewarded with gruesome deaths. In this movie the smart thing to do is keep your head and let the corporations do what they want. They’ve already won, fighting back only makes it worse.

Also like “Rogue One” the “victory” in the end is pyrrhic at best. The big hope is escaping to Canada. As with real life though, that’s not a solution. The problem affects the whole world and can reach beyond borders… Now I’ve depressed myself so let’s move on.

Tomorrow we’re introduced to Female Apex Clone #54 AKA Fiddy Fo’ (X-23). She talks out some issues she has with J-Pop (Jubilee). Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

If you pay super close attention you might see that these comics look a little prettier. It’s more noticable if you zoom in. That’s because I found a way get a higher quality image at a smaller file size. Another little trick I picked up from Webcomics.com. Next weeks comics should look even better as I play around with it more.

I gotta repeat myself about “Supergirl”. The show is a lot better without “Jimmy”. The show really needs a “big bad” though, and “Cadmus” isn’t good enough. It was a huge mistake to kill off “Supergirl’s” aunt because she was a great “big bad” for season 1.

That’s it for “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” this week! Tomorrow we’ll see the full page of “The Hisotry Of Comics With Q-boy” 64. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

So this whole Remy Ma/ Nicki Minaj beef seems to be about a bunch of generic “I’m the best” rhymes. Any “evidence” I’ve seen about where this beef started comes down to lines that could be about anyone. *Trump voice* “I like beefs that are actually about something”. “ShEther” is a great diss song though.

It won’t change anything though. Whether Nicki responds or not at some point she’ll make a new hit and everything will be back to normal. Diss songs don’t end careers. Bad decisions do.

Tomorrow Special-Girl along with White Swallow and Apex talk up Apex’s new movie. There’s also a lesson about abusing power or something. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Anyone know what this whole Remy Ma/ Nicki Minaj things is about? Out of nowhere on Saturday I saw this trending on “Twitter”. Anyways, wow “ShEther” by Remy is pretty vicious…

On a completely different note let’s talk about last weeks’ episode of “The Flash”. It was actually pretty good. The only problem I had was all the stuff with “Wally” and “Jesse Quick”. You two live in different universes, get over it! You just can’t be together! Bang someone else! The entire thing is completely ridiculous.

Then there was this whole thing with “Jesse” being able to teach “Wally” about being a “speedster”… She’s has super-speed like a day longer than him! What the hell are they talking about?!

Tomorrow Special-Girl and Red Witch return with Red Witch’s dad General Magnetic. Red Witch’s immigration issues get addressed. There will also be more Remy/Nicki talk. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

This panel mimics the cover to “Green Lantern” 75 by artist Gil Kane. You can check it out here http://bit.ly/gl75cover . “Green Lantern” 75 is significant because it is the last issue before the title started a classic run. The title was then written by Dennis O’Neil with art by Neal Adams.

“Green Arrow” was also added to the book as co-star. According to “Wikipedia” this is also seen as part of the end of the Silver Age of Comics.

That’s really it for this week. On Monday we return with another panel from “The History Of Comics With Q-boy” 64. After that check out new “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” on Tuesday-Thursday. Finally next Friday you’ll get the complete “The History Of Comics With Q-boy” 64 comic.
