Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #87

The Minstrel, Q-boy, & Freedom Female On Anxiety (Censored)

Can “Wonder Woman” break “DC’s” streak of bad movies? It’s possible. The trailer was pretty good. The only thing is there’s still no clear villain.  I see this as a bad sign.  This seems to indicate there’s either no real villain or the villain sucks.  This is a tough area for “Wonder Woman” as she only has 2 villains that a decent amount of people would know.  That’s “Cheetah” and “Giganta”.

On top of that you gotta fit whatever you plan to do around World War I. Having the movie take place during World War I as opposed to World War II where “Wonder Woman” actually debuted in  the comics is a decision I find particularly strange.  The only reason I can think of for doing it is to avoid comparisons to “Captain America”. Those comparisons to are unavoidable. It’s already noted that both feature soldier’s named “Steve” played by a guy named “Chris”.

I guess only time will tell… Tomorrow The Minstrel and Q-boy return to talk about school along with Slowku. Hope you emjoy and see ya then!

Here we have White Swallow would might have seen a little while back in Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations ( #29 & #31 which sorta refers to what happens in this comic).  The panels of this comic are based on covers drawn by Carmine Infatino including

In panel 3 Special-Man makes a reference to The Good Knight making a joke before. This referring to waaay back to Q-boy #2 on page 3. We also have the first appearance of Insect Dude.  For him I figured I’d combine Ant-man and The Atom as the serve basically the same purpose powers-wise.  Next time we meet a lady named Marlene in a double page special.  New Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations comics will be here Tuesday-Thursday. And here’s my version of “The Punisher”… Took a while for me to settle on a name.  I had Death Penalty in my head, but I just didn’t think it was good enough.  Then I was pretty sure I was gonna use The Equalizer but there’s a movie called that with a very Punisher-like character.  All this time I had Frag Count as sorta of a second choice. The name gave me the video game kinda spin on the character.  So yeah that’s Frag Count… Tommorow we meet a lady known as Nestra as this Daredevil season 2 inspired week continues.  See ya then and hope you enjoy!

9AM – Ms. Majors On  Freedom Female / Ms. Majors Movie

February 1 is hourly comic day which is described by KnowYourMeme.com as “an annual event that takes place on February 1st where participants draw one short comic for every hour that they (are) awake”.  This is my bastardized attempt at it.

To be clear all these comics were made in advance unlike the brave souls who are actually making comics every hour they are awake.

The attempt here is that a comic will be posted every hour today from 12AM to 12PM.  How well will this work out? Who knows? But hey the train wreck might be fun to watch too.
