The History Of Comics With Q-boy #66 Ditch The Chick, Drop The Thot, N’ Fly Ya Booty Off Cuz’ Duty Calls (Panel 1)

qbs66panel1

It’s been a while since the last update for “The History Of Comics With Q-boy”.  I’m still trying to find the best schedule for doing these comics. Anyways, when we last left off Kill-Man had just murdered Distraction Lass and Miss Direction barely escaped with her life.

This panel is based on the cover of “Wonder Woman” 96 which was drawn by Harry G. Peters.  You can check it out at http://bit.ly/ww96cover

Check out new “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” on Tuesday-Thursday. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Who saw “Dr. Strange”?  “Marvel” did it again. Another great film that expands their universe and kept things fresh and inventive. “DC’s” movies so far aren’t even comparable. In fact comparing them is an insult to the craft Marvel puts into their movies.

Speaking of which a new trailer for the “Wonder Woman” movie was released, and it was okay, but the first one was better. As this comic points out there doesn’t seem to be a real villain. There’s this lady with a scarred face that might be one of “Wonder Woman’s” first villains but we haven’t seen her do anything and she’s not “Giganta” or “Cheetah” so who cares. I predict “Wonder Woman” will be the best of “DC’s” movies and might even reach into “good territory”, but fall short or “great”. We’ll see…

Tomorrow we’ll have a new president, but more importantly Luscious Trapp and Mr. Mystic return with Quickie and Hell’s Hunter to talk about another time travel mistake. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Who saw the “Logan” trailer? It looks pretty interesting, but I gotta say I never really liked “Old Man Logan” which this movie seems to mostly be based on. The art for it was great but the story… meh! Also mostly indifferent about “X23” as a character. No matter what happens with this movie it still won’t quite be the “Wolverine” movie I want.

I just want present day “Wolverine” with metal claws killing the hell out of ninjas, or robots, or something with rated R level violence.  Over the years we got bits and pieces, but never the whole thing.  At this rate I guess we’re never gonna get this fully. Oh well we still got “Deadpool”

Tomorrow Quickie, Hell’s Hunter, and Luscious Trapp talk about Special-Girl and her “troubles” lately. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

I’ve seen people “ship” “Batman” and “Wonder Woman” and I just don’t see it at all. As these comics have gone into, “Batman’s” relationships are messed up and I don’t see “Wonder Woman” putting up with that nonsense. I’ve seen memes where literally “Wonder Woman” just drops the panties cuz’ “he’s “Batman””, but what would that mean to “Wonder Woman”?

Depending on which version she’s either is one of, or was created by the Gods.  At the very least she is royalty. You might think “well Batman is a billionaire and that’s basically like being royalty”, but “Wonder Woman” is a special case.  The “Amazon’s” seem to live a fairly simple life.  “Wonder Woman” is the kinda gal that brings a boar to a dinner party as was mentioned before…

That’s it for this week. See ya next Tuesday-Thursday for more “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations”. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Freedom Female’s Relationship (Censored)

I’m not really against “Superman” and “Wonder Woman” as a couple… I just enjoy making fun of it. I think them being together really works in “Kingdom Come”.  I don’t think them being together works in the “Dark Knight Returns” comics though.  Also I’m not sure them being together always worked in the “New 52”.  I think if “Lois Lane” is around “Superman” is always destined to be with her, but if she isn’t him and “Wonder Woman” make sense as a couple.

Tomorrow The Minstrel and Freedom Female return with The Good Knight to talk about issues between Freedom Female and The Good Knight. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

The Minstrel, Special-Man, & The Good Knight On Special-Man & The Good Knight’s Issues

ccc-104-theminstrelspecialmanandthegoodknight

So “DC Comics” has started this “Trinity” comic with “Superman”, “Batman”, and “Wonder Woman” and that inspired this week’s comics that explore the relationships between these 3 characters. The actual comic seems pretty decent from the first issue.  The issue centers around “Lois Lane” (this being the “Lois Lane” from the the “Pre-Flashpoint” “DCU” that is married to “Superman” and has a son with him who all someone got into the “New 52” “DCU”) inviting “Batman” and “Wonder Woman” to dinner.

All that stuff in parentheses is everything wrong with “DC Comics”.

Moving on, for some reason “Wonder Woman” brings a boar… Seems like “Wonder Woman” at this point would have been in “Man’s World” or whatever long enough to know that’s not normal but whatever.

Tomorrow The Minstrel and Special-Man return along with Freedom Female to discuss their relationship. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Q-girl, Q-boy, & Slowku On The 100th Conversation Cypher (Team Q-four) (Censored)

ccc-100a-qgirlqboyslowkuc

So this 100th comic is in 4 parts. This is the first part. For each of these I’ll explain some references people may not know

“Bangin’ The Wench” = Reference to “Batgirl” having sex with “Batman” in the direct to DVD movie “Batman: The Killing Joke”.

“Baby mama’s a terrorist” = Reference to “Batman” having a child (current “Robin” “Damian Wayne”) with “Talia Al Ghul”

“Ain’t no such thing as half way crooks” = Famous line from “Shook Ones (Part II)” by “Mobb Deep. Also a big part of the “Eminem” movie “8 Mile” when he quotes the line from the song while rhyming to the “Shook One” instrumental in his final battle against “Papa Doc”

John Hein/”Hit em’ with the hein”= Howard Stern show reference. A lot to explain but the short version is describing someone who has low energy

Special-Man, Freedom Female, & The Good Knight On

The 100th Conversation Cypher (Team World Protectors) (Censored)

“Blame some blue guy” = Reference to how “DC’s” event “Rebirth” seems to blame the “darkness” of “DC’s” universe on “Dr. Manhattan” from “Watchmen” altering things/

Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #100C

The Innovator, America-Man, & The Smasher The

100th Conversation Cypher (Team Revenge Squad) (Censored)

ccc-100c-theinnovatoramericamansmasherc

“Call me a Nazi” = Reference to all the “HydraCap” nonsense that was going on where in the current “Captain America” comic he was altered to think he’s a “Hydra” agent and people were being total rubes and calling him a Nazi.

“Me n’ Ms. Majors fightin’” = Reference to “Civil War II” where “Iron Man” and “Captain Marvel” are fighting over some “Inhuman” kid that can predict the future and whether to use him or not

“The Smasher was dead” = Reference to “The Hulk” being killed by “Hawkeye” in “Civil War II”

Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #100D

Special-Girl & Muffina Winters On The 100th Conversation Cypher (Censored)

ccc-44.3-muffyandspecialgirltandqgirl

“Papa Doc” = Mentioned  before but he’s the guy Eminem battles at the end of “8 Mile”. The battle begins with a coin toss to see who goes first and he says “let that bitch go first”. Played “Anthony Mackie” aka “The Falcon” in “Marvel movies.

“Lynda Carter” = Played “Wonder Woman” in the 70’s TV Show. Obviously pre-dating “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”.

“Originator of musical episodes” = The “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” episode “One More Time With Feeling” seemed to popularize TV shows doing musical episodes with varying results. “Supergirl” is suppose to have a musical crossover with “The Flash” next season.

“Angel” & “Spike” = “Buffy’s” vampire love interests.  Usually wouldn’t use “real life” names (and in this comic’s context it kinda doesn’t make sense) but I couldn’t resist using this line

It’s been great giving you these first 100 comics. To 100 more and way beyond.  Thanks to everyone who liked, retweeted, commented, shared, and just read these.
