This is yet another comic where I had to do a lot of editing. The first thing Spiderous-Man says is completely different from what I first wrote. In the middle of doing the word balloons for this comic I realized I needed to change what he said. J-Pop mentions “Talentless Americans Trying Get A Crappy Vegas Show”. If the title didn’t make it clear this is this world’s version of “America’s Got Talent”. I remembered that this show plays a part in the origin I wrote for “Spiderous-Man”. This is yet another story I want to tell at some point. With that established it would seem weird if he didn’t say something about that.

You also might’ve noticed that the some new fonts used for this comic. Over the last couple weeks I’ve searched through hundreds of fonts and downloaded a bunch. These should be “cleaner” and easier to read than the fonts I was using before. Hope you like em’?

I’m going to change my plans for the 200th comic. The story I had in mind has become bigger and I need more time to develop it. What I plan to do now will be a few of these comics to introduce my version of “Sailor Moon” and the other “Sailor Scouts”. In fact I finished the design of my version of “Sailor Moon” for this comic last night. Her name is Admiral Star.

 On to this comic. I’ve been wanting to bring back Q-girl and Spiderous-Man for while. I couldn’t find the right story for them until now. The whole “The Mindy Project” thing came from me finally wanting to see what was going on during the last season. I then realized I had only watched half of the season before. “Mindy” is always a show I root for because it started as a good show. It always get screwed up though. People who aren’t funny (Mindy’s friends?) keep getting added to it. They not only aren’t funny in their own right they hog up time from the good characters. Oh well, I hear next season it ends anyway…

Poor Special-Girl. She is now isolated by her position. Even clowning Spiderous-Man could not bring her and Freedom Female together. Where does she go from here?

The “Supergirl” show is still pretty weak. At this point I have to ask the question: do we need “Jimmy Olsen” at all?

  • In season 1 it was all about the “will they/won’t they” bang thing. That is over now so…
  • The whole “Guardian” things is stupid. At least it’s not a secret anymore. That’s was annoying as hell.

In fact I almost question if they should drop “CatCo” and the whole secret identity stuff all togehter.

  • The only point of “CatCo” was for “Alley McBeal” to say bitchy stuff to “Kara”, but “Alley McBeal” ain’t on the show anymore so…
  • The whole reporter thing is stupid and “Snapper Carr” is a dick. And not in an entertaining way.

Why can’t she just work for the “DEO”? They could make some of the agents new supporting cast members to replace “Wynn” and “Jimmy”. Also “Mon-El” and “Ms. Martian” could have bigger roles.

Still the best option is to put “Supergirl” on “Legends Of Tomorrow”.

Special-Girl, Freedom Female & Spiderous-Man On Love & Friendship

Originally I was going to have Q-girl in this comic as well, but I saw that this one was already running long and I didn’t think she was going to add anything important. My first thought about Q-girl and Spiderous-Man meeting again after hooking up (and him catching an alien STD off her) during “The Utterly Insane 25 Hourly Comics Shebangabang” was that it would be a huge confrontation with yelling and screaming. Then I thought about it some more and thought “no the whole point is Spiderous-Man is a loser who lets people push him around. What if they became this really unhealthy couple”?

That there captures the fun of these comics for me. “Spider-Man” will never catch an STD, but Spiderous-Man will. If most of the first year of this comic was about recurring themes like “Special-Girl is addicted to “Synthetic Destroyer Element”” then this year is about expanding those themes into full blown storylines.  Ones where I’m not even sure where they’re going.

This one actually tied into the Holiday Special comic from Monday.  Yep it’s in continunity…

Anyways “Civil War II” finally ended last week and… Wow…. What a waste of time and good art… The worst thing about “Marvel’s” crossovers is that they never really end they just shift into whatever the “new status quo” is.  This “new status quo” is especially bad. “The Hulk” is dead, “She Hulk” is more like “The Hulk” which is stupid and defeats the purpose of her character. “Iron Man” is off the table, and that scene was just painfully forced. “Cap” is STILL a “Hydra” agent (I thought they ended that after like 2 issues). Oh and the “Inhuman” kid who could predict the future is now some cosmic entitiy or something because “Inhumans” are IMPORTANT and always involved in everything. We get it “Marvel”. We get it!

“Marvel” may DESTROY “DC” when comes to movies and beat them by a lot at TV with the “Netflix” shows, but I gotta say I think “DC” might be winning with actual comics. To be clear this is pretty much only because one of the “Justice League” books is okay and “All Star Batman” is great.

I don’t play video games much anymore. The last game I played and beat was “GTA 5” (the only “GTA” I ever beat). It’s been even longer since I played an RPG. I played “Skyrim” for a few weeks and lost interest. I think I gotta go WAY back to “Fable III” was the next one.  Before that this game “Radiata Stories” (which I forgot the name of for a long ass time til’ I looked it up today. God that was bugging me!) where I screwed up something I couldn’t fix so I just quit playing.

The last “Final Fantasy” I played was “Final Fantasy X”. Never beat that one cause I couldn’t ever do the thing where you gotta dodge lighting 8 million times to get “Tidus’” ultimate weapon. It had some cool characters but the story was kinda “meh” anyways. I actually bought “Final Fantasy XI” but I couldn’t get the online thing for “Playstation 2” to work.

Due to a buncha crap with having an old TV and finally getting a new one for Christmas I think I’m finally getting the “PS4” shoulda got last year. In the process of looking up that “Radiata Stories” game I saw that other rpg I really liked “Suikoden” had 3 sequels I never knew about. I’m considering downloading those games if possible. Course at this point playing them would require getting rid of sleep entirely as a concept… Still tempted though.

In last week’s comics Mr. Mystic went to the future and heard that someone (Freedom Female) started a rumor about The Minstrel being Kellyanne Conway. He also learned that Trump was revealed to be a Russian robot. He then felt like he should stop that rumor about The Minstrel from starting.  As you can see he failed that goal.

Tommorow Freedom Female takes The Minstrel’s place as the convo goes more off course with video game talk and we learn more about how Mr. Mystic screwed up. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Before I start strangely enough I got likes for the last two comics on Twitter from R&B singer Rapheal Saadiq of all people. Man I’m curious to know how he stumbled on to this comic of all things.

Anyways unless plans drastically change this will be the last one these comics for this year. It’s been too much fun making these comics. It’s been one dark crazy messed-up year and I just hope these dark crazy messed-up comics sometimes made a few minutes of it a little more bearable. To of all you who liked, retweeted, shared, or just read these comics this year I appreciated it more than you can know.

After posting the first page of the special holiday comic on Christmas day I’m still working on the rest.  I’ll try to get it out by New Years. When I started this comic I intended for each comic to feature 1 person. Then during the second week the “Deadpool” movie came out and I decided that my version of him “Death Poll” would pop in on each comic. I thought it was gonna be for that week only. Then during the big “Flash/Supergirl” TV crossover I did a special comic with their counterparts “Special-Girl and Quickie”. Almost immediately 3 characters were regularly featured.  In the last few months 4 characters started showing up. I literally didn’t think anymore could fit into one comic… This week has 5 characters in every comic.  Crazy how things change…

It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to do this week.  Was it gonna be yet another “2016 was the worst year ever thing”, or something saying it wasn’t the worst year ever, or something saying it was but it was our fault… On Christmas night I was gonna try to stay up and write these but I was tired to instead took a nap. I woke back up around 2 and pretty soon an idea struck me… We deserved an alternate ending…Strangely enough the that idea came from the song by Horseshoe Gang (they are this DOPE ass group  of 4 dudes and I think 2 of them are Crooked I’s little brothers. Crooked I is the west coast dude in Slaughterhouse) called “Alternate Ending” where they took “Brenda’s” Got A Baby” and gave it happier ending. I just felt like that part in “The Dark Knight” “people deserve to have their faith rewarded”.
