A new “Spider-Man: Homecoming” trailer came out last week and it was pretty cool I guess. Although, all the best part of it are “Iron Man”. In fact I’d MUCH rather see another “Iron Man” where mentoring “Spider-Man” is a subplot. There’s a whole article about how the “Marvel” movies need “Spider-Man” at CBR.com (which is here https://goo.gl/fkZVbm ) and I couldn’t disagree more.  Don’t get me wrong it was nice to see “Spider-Man” in “Civil War” and it worked. But need is a strong word.  No the “Marvel” movies NEED the “X-men” because without them they’re forced to use “Inhumans” and “Inhumans” suck.  Without “X-men” the “MCU” has no good allegory for minorities because again “Inhumans” just don’t work as well.

On to “Rogue One”.  Gotta say not hyped at all. I got my doubts about this one. For one thing I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t think “Star Wars” films work without “Han Solo”, and by “Han Solo” I mean “Harrison Ford”. Watch the original trilogy again and try to imagine it without him. I think you’ll find a MUCH less interesting set of movies. Second it’s a prequel (a side story prequel at that) and sure it’s almost impossible it won’t be better than “Episodes I-III” but that still doesn’t mean it’ll be good.  That being said of course I’ll almost certainly see it Saturday…

I was a actually a whole day ahead of schedule until I got to this comic. For this one I wrote too much material and had to fight to squeeze what I could in. There’s a lot to be said about the economy and jobs and the minimum wage, but I’ll leave that for another day.

Special-Girl, Jade Archer, Luscious Trapp, & Mr. Mystic On Last Week’s Big TV  Crossover

Last week was the big crossover with “Supergirl”, “The Flash”, “Arrow”, and “Legends Of Tomorrow”.  It was really fun to see all these characters together. I think it really illustrated that “Supergirl” is great, but her show isn’t.  The other thing this illustrates is that “Supergirl” needs to be part of “Arrowverse”. The shows are on the same network so let’s do a mini-“Crisis” or something (you can also kill off “Wally West” while you’re at it) and bring her in. Better yet I have a better idea… Hear me out now… Put “Supergirl” on “Legends Of Tomorrow”. “Supergirl’s” show is just going to limp along with “Lena Luthor” and her mom doing a crappy rendition of “Lex Luthor” and his dad in “Smallville”. We’re going to have to suffer through “Jimmy Olsen” being a crappy hero no one cares about, and him hiding it from “Supergirl” for dumb reasons and then a predictable and stupid fall out from it. Instead lets take the best “DC Comics” “CW” show and make it even better. “Supergirl” and “Heatwave” interacting alone makes this worth doing.

Tomorrow Mr. Mystic (in spiritual projection form) try to talk some more with “Quickie” and “White Swallow” about the big crosssover last week.
