This panel mimics the cover to “Green Lantern” 75 by artist Gil Kane. You can check it out here http://bit.ly/gl75cover . “Green Lantern” 75 is significant because it is the last issue before the title started a classic run. The title was then written by Dennis O’Neil with art by Neal Adams.

“Green Arrow” was also added to the book as co-star. According to “Wikipedia” this is also seen as part of the end of the Silver Age of Comics.

That’s really it for this week. On Monday we return with another panel from “The History Of Comics With Q-boy” 64. After that check out new “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” on Tuesday-Thursday. Finally next Friday you’ll get the complete “The History Of Comics With Q-boy” 64 comic. All this time and only 1 panel?! Sorry this comic has been so long delayed. It seems like between the holiday comic and the hourly comics I did there always seemed to be something in the way of doing this comic. This whole comic is actually finished but I’m going to try to something different. I’m going to start releasing this comic one panel at a time. Normally this comic is four panels. l’ll release one panel Monday, one on Friday, one the next Monday, and the full comic the next Friday.

When we last left this comic Q-boy’s ex-girlfriend Helen Seabrook AKA Miss Direction suddenly got her powers back. She and Q-boy then got back together. Unknown to them it was Dr. Do who gave her back her powers and used the same process to increase Q-boy’s enemy Kill-Man’s power. All of this is leading to the end of the Silver Age of Comics for Q-boy. This comic is based on the cover to “Fantastic Four #102” which you can see here http://bit.ly/ff102cover . This issue of “Fantastic Four” is significant because according to “Wikipedia” it is considered the end of the Silver Age of Comics  to Silver Age historian Craig Shutts as it was “ Jack Kirby’s last regular-run issue before the artist left to join DC Comics”.

Oh and what Q-ball said is “hello friends. I have not appeared in a long time. I hope I survive. Otherwise this comic’s disturbing lack of diversity will be even worse”.

Check out new “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” on Tuesday-Thursday and the next panel of this comic on Friday. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

The main thing with this one is I wanted to draw some action and I wanted to show some of the characters you may have seen in “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” in action. The original idea was Q-boy talking to Special-Girl but as this comic points out that is pretty similar to the first holiday special. So I watched an IG story by this comic’s special guest Zee Bee aka @thegoofyartist where she talked about holding a door for this girl and the girl not saying thank you. For some reason that made the whole story click for me.  So I wrote this up and messaged Zee about it, and she gave me the okay to do it which was very cool of her. Cuz’ I couldn’t blame her at all it she was was like “no *block*”.

Speaking of her, let me properly introduce our special guest. Zee is someone whose work I ran into on “Twitter” a few years ago. She had a cool art style and she seems to have the same weird attention span problem that had her doing multiple webcomics like I do. Fast forward a few years and she likes I few of my pics on IG and I’m like “oh this chick, yeah I’ll follow her”. From following her on IG I find that she’s become this coloring/ animation master. She’s also pretty funny (the holidayclapbacks are always good for a laugh) and has a good taste in shows (“Dragonball”, “Simpson”, “Archer”, etc.). Mainly though she just has this slightly manic happy exuberant energy.  She does do the dog filter thing though… I don’t think girls her age can help it though.  Again thanks Zee, this holiday special doesn’t exist without you.

As for the moral of this story, do the right thing because it makes you feel good or because is makes logical sense. If we all do that 2017 will be better than last year. Let’s try to make it good one! Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Hope everyone had a good Christmas day! This is the first page of this year’s holiday special. I’ll talk more about it, and give an introduction of this comic’s special guest Zee Bee AKA @thegoofyartist (her name on Twitter and Instagram) later. Special thanks to her for letting me use her as a character in this nutty little adventure.

The third panel is based on the “Super Kamikaze Ghost Attack” by “Gotenks” in “Dragonball Z” and this picture by Zee (note NSFW due to gore and slight nudity) which you can check out here https://goo.gl/mufbwG .

Again have a good one everyone and I’ll catch ya’ll later. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Yeah so this one is pretty late. My schedule has changed a lot over the last few weeks, and that along with doing the pre-election special for “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” held this up.  Here we begin the final big adventure before we end this Silver Age chapter of “The History Of Comics With Q-boy”.  I figured for this I’d base the panels on all the artists who have been featured in the Silver Age chapter of these comics. On to the panels…

  • Panel 1 is based on 2 panels from page 31 of “Jungle Comics” #11 by Fletcher Hanks which you can check out here https://goo.gl/UfjzYT
  • Panel 2 is based on a page from “The Daring New Adventures Of Supergirl #13” by Carmine Infantino which you can check out here https://goo.gl/8A62j7
  • Panel 3 is based on a page from “Kull The Conqueror” #2 by Marie Severin which you can check out here https://goo.gl/CLBEs4
  • Panel 4 is based on page 9 of “Fantastic Four” #102 by Jack Kirby which you can check out here https://goo.gl/MZLcqW

Next time… Actually I haven’t written it yet, but I got a rough idea where I’m going. Check out new “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” Tuesday-Thursday. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!
