The Minstrel, Pussy Whip, & The Good Knight On Baby Mama Drama

ccc-95-theminstrelpussywhipandthegoodknight

I don’t see “Harley Quinn” and “Catwoman” being friends. I see pictures of the 2 of them and “Poison Ivy” together together a lot, but I just don’t see it. I imagine “Catwoman” trying to steal something and “Harley” bashing it with a giant mallet. On the other hand, I also don’t see this smart psychiatrist chick hanging out with a thief either. Then again, friendships don’t always make sense on paper I guess.

The other part of this comic is about “Batman” having is son “Damian” (the current “Robin”) with “Talia Al Ghul”.  For guy I who hates crime so much he sure likes his criminal ladies. I guess a lifelong promise to your dead folks can only go so far…

Tomorrow these 3 go into “The Good Knight” and “Pussy Whip’s” sex life… It might get dark… Hope you enjoy and see ya next time!

So if you stay up on news and stuff you might have heard about a story where Chris Brown allegedly pulled a gun on some chick at his house.  He says she was trying to steal from him and he didn’t pull a gun or was asleep the whole time or something. It also turns out the chick is pretty shady. Looks like a story where no one is the “good guy” but who knows.  Oh also Ray J was there.

With that out of the way, this whole week will feature these 3 talking about The Good Knight and Pussy Whip’s relationship.  There are actually 4 comics that proceed this that will be available whenever I start a Patreon and or when I start collecting these comics into books.

Tomorrow these 3 discuss some baby mama drama. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Well it looks like Muffy and The Minstrel are getting along now… We’ll see how long that lasts.

So in the last episode of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” “Buffy” gives this speech about being “cookie dough” as opposed to “cookies”.  Mostly this comic is making fun of that. There’s a good joke about “eating her” but mostly the speech seems oddly pre-prepared for the situation.

Tomorrow The Minstrel, Q-boy, & Spiderous-Man talk once again talk about self-esteem and maybe a movie coming out get mentioned. Hope you enjoy, and see ya then!

I tend not to watch award shows. I find them really boring most of the time. Literally on Sunday I was looking for something to watch on TV and remembered “Comedy Central” been showing “Step Brothers” every other hour, and I up for watching yet again but from someone reason the “VMA’s” were on and Kanye was about to give his much talked about speech.

It was the usual Kanye nonsense. “Bruh” every other word, comparisons to great people, a somewhat relevant topic that gets brought up only to go back to talking about how great he and other artists are. Then he premiered a new video that’s just some hot chick dancing around in a gym and then she’s in a shower alone and with some dude.

Next time I won’t give in to curiosity and just watch clips on some website the next day. Tomorrow The Minstrel, Q-boy, and Muffina Winters continue with the topic of self-esteem. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

The History Of Comics With Q-boy #60 An Outlaw’s Prayer For Vengence (Censored)

The History Of Comics With Q-boy #60 An Outlaw’s Prayer For Vengence (Censored)

This comic is based on the work of Robert Crumb and Bobby Cakes is based on him. Robert Crumb is certainly a controversial figure, but he is undeniably a great artist.  He gained his fame mainly during the late 60’s and 70’s in the underground comics scene. The documentary about him from 1994 “Crumb” is really worth seeing if you haven’t.

The whole idea of having Q-boy Comics in this story have “7 great artists” and the whole Q-boy Comics being like “Deathrow” started with the idea of having Robert Crumb be like 2pac.  It was such a weird idea that I went with it.  Now let’s explain the panels:

  • Panel 1 is based on a panel from Crumb’s comic “My Troubles With Women” and the part in the thought bubble is based on a panel from another of his comics “The Adventures Of R. Crumb Himself” which you can check out here http://qr.net/bYtpa & here http://qr.net/bYtp2
  • Panel 2 is based on another panel from “My Troubles With Women” and a panel from another comic he did “Motor City” #2 which you can see here http://qr.net/bYtrY & here http://qr.net/bYttc
  • Panel 3 is based on a panel from a story Crumb did for “El Perfecto Comics”. The stuff in the thought balloon is based on a panel from his project from 2009 “The Book Of Genesis Illustrated” and one of the things he’s most famous for “Keep On Truckin’” a one page comic from “Zap Comix” #1 which you can check out here http://qr.net/bYtvg , here http://qr.net/bYtys , and here http://qr.net/bYtAb
  • Panel 4 is based on an unpublished cover for “Hulp Comics” (that I couldn’t do justice to the crosshatching in) which you can check out here http://qr.net/bYtEu
  • Panel 5 is based on a drawing of “Lightin’ Hopkins” from “R. Crumb’s Heroes Of Blues, Jazz, & Country” which you check out here http://qr.net/bYtCk
  • Panel 6 is based on a drawing of Crumb himself and David Zane Mairowitz from “R. Crumb’s Kafka” which you can check out here http://qr.net/bYtGf

Next time we continue with Bobby Cakes as he works with Q-boy Comics. Check out new “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” on Tuesday-Thursday. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!
