I thought I was done for this week but the internet seemingly exploded because in the comic “Captain America: Steve Rogers #1” it’s “revealed” that he was in fact an agent of Hydra all along… I’m baffled how anyone thinks this is for real… Like if you’re new to comics or a young kid I kinda get it.  Even then you’ve seen wrestling or some serialized entertainment where a good guy turns heel, and or it wasn’t REALLY them.  I’ll say I did read an article on “Comic Book Resources” before I read the comic where the writer is literally like *WINK* *WINK* *NUDGE* EFFIN’ *NUDGE* Cosmic Cube! Specifically this part “for context, this is a Steve Rogers that was just returned to his youth by a Cosmic Cube — a reality warping device that has, at times, been used for nefarious purposes. While this is definitely Steve Rogers, as Spencer says, it’s still possible that this is a different Steve Rogers than we’ve seen before”. Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #48 Freedom Female On Bad Bios

“DC Comics” next big event is “Rebirth” which starts this week. Where once again DC is rebooting its universe.  This one is supposedly a “soft reboot” but it is a reboot nonetheless.  DC is always trying to fix it’s broken continuity and that alone is enough reason for Marvel to win any DC vs Marvel argument. They just keep doing it over and over and over again and they somehow make it worse every single time.  Even from what little has been revealed some terrible ideas are coming.  One idea is that “Wonder Woman” has a twin brother.  Gotta say this sounds like a bad idea, but I can give this one the benefit of the doubt.  One idea they got with the “Joker” I’ll go into in Thursdays comic.  But one is…. Wow…. One is that “Dr. Manhattan” from “Watchmen” is either the villain or has something to do with the “darkness” that has plagued the “DCU”.

No.   You guys milked “Watchmen” for your “Before Watchmen” event already. Which is like making a direct to DVD prequel to “Casablanca” or something.  The best of those comics were nice looking and inoffensive but pointless. Stop using these characters!

Of course they won’t though. At least it seems like they’re bring back some characters they got rid of.  That’s something I guess. Tomorrow Special-Girl, White Swallow, and Quickie discuss things that have been written about them.  Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

I realized that for something called “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” I’d haven’t had many of this comics with villains/criminals.  Honestly I have way fewer designs for villains than for heroes.  This is the first comic you’ve seen with my “Magneto” character, General Magnetic (comics with him have been made that I’m saving for Patreon and or book collections of these comics).  This is also the first comic with the Smasher since the launch of the comic on “hourly comic day”. If you’re asking what “Pepe the frog” and “frog on a unicycle” are… I honestly don’t really know. In fact I didn’t know the “crying frog” was named Pepe for some reason for the longest time. Where did they come from? What do they really mean? No clue… But they are memes I see (especially on Instagram) and some of them are pretty funny. Also I don’t know who “Young Metro” is or about his trust issues. I wonder if this is what people who don’t comics feel when watching comic book movies.  Enjoying it but feeling like you’re missing something. Gee hope that isn’t how it feels to read these comics… Moving on…

So the big “Agents Of Shield” finale was last night. It sucked like almost every episode does.  A different person died than I thought but that person barely counts. Tomorrow we’ll hear from The Smasher, General Magnetic, and Dr. Do talk about our secret group of heroes from Monday’s comic.  Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

The Innovator, Headmaster Fresh, & Mr. Stretch On Rumors Of Them Having A Secret Group (Censored)

This comic is about “The Illuminati” the secret group  in Marvel that made decisions at various important points in Marvel history.  The group originally was “Iron Man”, “Prof. X, “Mr. Fantastic”, “Blackbolt” of the “Inhumans”, “Namor”, and “Dr. Strange”.  Over time the group has changed a few times.  To me the group is a bad idea that went way too far as they’ve gone on to do pretty reprehensible things.  One specific thing they did that’s mentioned in the comic is “The Hulk” being sent off to space which eventually led to “Planet Hulk” and “World War Hulk”.
