The History Of Comics With Q-boy #63 Reunited And It Feels… Even Worse Than Before

Yeah so this one is pretty late. My schedule has changed a lot over the last few weeks, and that along with doing the pre-election special for “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” held this up.  Here we begin the final big adventure before we end this Silver Age chapter of “The History Of Comics With Q-boy”.  I figured for this I’d base the panels on all the artists who have been featured in the Silver Age chapter of these comics. On to the panels…

I went back and forth on whether I was going to do this or not. At the end of the day I felt this election was too important not to address, plus once I got the idea to have all the characters together I really couldn’t resist going for it. Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #121

J-Pop, Mr. Mystic, & Luscious Trapp On The 100th Conversation Cypher (Censored)

I watched the special features to “X-men: Apocalypse” and saw the infamous “mall scenes” that were cut, and … Yeah they would’ve dragged the movie and needed to be cut. In this part there’s a scene where “Jubilee” uses her powers to keep playing a arcade game instead of quarters. It makes no sense.

In the actual movie it’s weird that she doesn’t to fight “Apocalypse” or even use her powers. It’s strange that she’s just introduced as part of the “new cast of young characters” and then disappears. It seems like they didn’t figure out what to do with her powers. I get that because her powers are usually described as “fireworks” which really makes no sense as fireworks are a man made product.

Who saw the “Logan” trailer? It looks pretty interesting, but I gotta say I never really liked “Old Man Logan” which this movie seems to mostly be based on. The art for it was great but the story… meh! Also mostly indifferent about “X23” as a character. No matter what happens with this movie it still won’t quite be the “Wolverine” movie I want.

I just want present day “Wolverine” with metal claws killing the hell out of ninjas, or robots, or something with rated R level violence.  Over the years we got bits and pieces, but never the whole thing.  At this rate I guess we’re never gonna get this fully. Oh well we still got “Deadpool”

I’ve gone over how I’m not a fan of the “Inhumans”, and moreso not a fan of “Marvel” pushing them especially at the expense of mutants/ the “X-men”. Last week the first issue of  “Death Of X” came out and this comic basically explains it. “Inhumans” get their powers for the “terrigen mist” which seems to kill mutant and supposedly the “Inhumans” knew this and released it anyways.  I figure that there has to be more to this story because this just makes the “Inhumans” entirely the bad guys. I think this is all leading some some big “X-men VS Inhumans” event which unless it’s basically just the “X-men” killing most of the “Inhumans” (and it won’t) is gonna stupid and pointless.

Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations #110

Special-Girl, J-Pop, & Luscious Trapp On The Champion Crew & The Champs (Censored)

The first issue of “Marvel’s” new “Champions” series came out last week. It’s an okay comic. Most of the heroes were part of the “All New All Different Avengers”, and their reason for leaving that team is kinda flimsy. Something about fighting during “Civil War II” and not doing enough to fix things after battles.  This comic is mostly about how I decided to name my version of the “Teen Titans” “The Champion Crew” and how that is similar to “The Champions”.

After a lot of DVR trouble and a lot of online searching I saw the season 2 premiere episode of “Supergirl”. Overall it was pretty good. I definitely had my doubts about having “Superman” on the show, but so I far I think I was wrong. He acutally worked pretty well on the show. “Tess Mercer” “Lena Luthor” also seems like an interesting addition to the show. “Kara” being a reporter though… Seems like she should have a different job than her cousin. Oh and before I forget “Winn” sucks. Every show doesn’t have to have some impossibly good tech person.
