All the protesting against Trump gives me hope. Maybe we’re not doomed. Maybe most people aren’t falling for this. All of this might be too late, but maybe not.

As I write this the comic isn’t done yet. This is one of the rare ones where I actually added more words than I originally planned. This one is so random and all over the place I tried to make sure I explained things pretty well.

So I watched the last episode of “Supergirl”, the much hyped “Supergirl Lives” directed by Kevin Smith. Someday I have get into a long post about Kev, but that’s definitely for another day. Will always love his early movies though. Anyways for episode with that title you’d expect something BIG to happen.  Yeah not so much. This episodes has the same problems the rest of this season has which are:

  • Wynn sucks. He really takes to another level in this one. Dude’s dead weight, cut him
  • Jimmy Olsen being “Guardian” is stupid
  • Jimmy hiding being “Guardian” from “Supergirl” is even stupider
  • Weak villains

Tomorrow Special-Girl and Luscious are swapped out for White Swallow and Jade Archer as they talk about “policital activism”. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

There’s this weird thing going on where people keep saying “Trump’s the president now we have to give him a chance”. Um… No, we’re Americans we don’t do that. Like I put into the comic we tear mercilessly at our leaders and that’s the good ones we actually like. The same people saying this never gave Obama a chance, and that’s not even getting into the fact Trump lost the popular vote by nearly 3 million, is quite possibly being controlled by Putin, and appointed almost comically terrible people to his cabinet. This guy even lies about stuff that there is photo evidence of like the number of people at his inauguration. They’ll have to come up with some really big “alternative facts” to down play all the people protesting against him.

As for Steve Harvey… That was disappointing… I think he thought he was doing a good thing meeting with Trump. “Having a seat at the table” as he put it, but that table is only for billionaires.

Tomorrow we swap out Apex & Death Poll for Luscious Trapp & Quickie as the conversation goes all over the place then circles back to Trump. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

The 3rd One: A Vaguely Defined Q-boy Holiday Special

The main thing with this one is I wanted to draw some action and I wanted to show some of the characters you may have seen in “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations” in action. The original idea was Q-boy talking to Special-Girl but as this comic points out that is pretty similar to the first holiday special. So I watched an IG story by this comic’s special guest Zee Bee aka @thegoofyartist where she talked about holding a door for this girl and the girl not saying thank you. For some reason that made the whole story click for me.  So I wrote this up and messaged Zee about it, and she gave me the okay to do it which was very cool of her. Cuz’ I couldn’t blame her at all it she was was like “no *block*”.

Speaking of her, let me properly introduce our special guest. Zee is someone whose work I ran into on “Twitter” a few years ago. She had a cool art style and she seems to have the same weird attention span problem that had her doing multiple webcomics like I do. Fast forward a few years and she likes I few of my pics on IG and I’m like “oh this chick, yeah I’ll follow her”. From following her on IG I find that she’s become this coloring/ animation master. She’s also pretty funny (the holidayclapbacks are always good for a laugh) and has a good taste in shows (“Dragonball”, “Simpson”, “Archer”, etc.). Mainly though she just has this slightly manic happy exuberant energy.  She does do the dog filter thing though… I don’t think girls her age can help it though.  Again thanks Zee, this holiday special doesn’t exist without you.

As for the moral of this story, do the right thing because it makes you feel good or because is makes logical sense.If we all do that 2017 will be better than last year. Let’s try to make it good one! Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

I was a actually a whole day ahead of schedule until I got to this comic. For this one I wrote too much material and had to fight to squeeze what I could in. There’s a lot to be said about the economy and jobs and the minimum wage, but I’ll leave that for another day.

Special-Girl, Jade Archer, Luscious Trapp, & Mr. Mystic On Last Week’s Big TV  Crossover

Last week was the big crossover with “Supergirl”, “The Flash”, “Arrow”, and “Legends Of Tomorrow”.  It was really fun to see all these characters together. I think it really illustrated that “Supergirl” is great, but her show isn’t.  The other thing this illustrates is that “Supergirl” needs to be part of “Arrowverse”. The shows are on the same network so let’s do a mini-“Crisis” or something (you can also kill off “Wally West” while you’re at it) and bring her in. Better yet I have a better idea… Hear me out now… Put “Supergirl” on “Legends Of Tomorrow”. “Supergirl’s” show is just going to limp along with “Lena Luthor” and her mom doing a crappy rendition of “Lex Luthor” and his dad in “Smallville”. We’re going to have to suffer through “Jimmy Olsen” being a crappy hero no one cares about, and him hiding it from “Supergirl” for dumb reasons and then a predictable and stupid fall out from it. Instead lets take the best “DC Comics” “CW” show and make it even better. “Supergirl” and “Heatwave” interacting alone makes this worth doing.

Tomorrow Mr. Mystic (in spiritual projection form) try to talk some more with “Quickie” and “White Swallow” about the big crosssover last week.

Let’s talk about some pretty unrelated comics. “Civil War II” 7 came out last week and I saw a pretty glowing review of it on CBR.com. Supposedly, this issue was suppose to turn the whole thing around (Note: SPOILERS AHEAD)… Nah, son.  This series is just dumb.  It starts with the guy that can predict the future that everyone is fighting over suddenly being about to actually go to the future/other realities and he’s in the “Old Man Logan” world. Starting off with “Inhumans” and “Old Man Logan” that’s 2 big minuses in my book. The guy talks to “Old Man Logan” and he’s a dick to the guy and won’t answer his questions. “Logan” then says something like “Stark pushes her to far” or something. This part feels like it’s they just needed to add pages. Then we pick up from last time where it was predicted that “Miles Morales” kills “Captain America”. So naturally everyone involved does whatever they can so that doesn’t happen. Oh wait no “Miles” and “Cap” meetup right where this is suppose to happen “to prove that it won’t happen”. “Captain Marvel” once again being reasonable and fair calls off cops from taking “Miles” in and tries to get “Miles” away so he doesn’t end up somehow killing “Captain America”. Then “Iron Man” attacks her in some “Hulkbuster” version of “War Machine’s” armor. Then it looks like “Captain Marvel” kills “Iron Man”. Dumb!

“Death Of X” 4 also came out. The whole series comes down to this. “Cyclops” is dead and his death is lamer than the death most people think he had. Also the “Inhumans” aren’t just terrible character their terrible people as they actually fight the “X-men” so they can’t stop this cloud that’s killing them because it creates more “Inhumans”. Dumb!

Tomorrow Lou and Mystic see who Quickie and Hell’s Hunter voted for. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!
