I went back and forth on whether I was going to do this or not. At the end of the day I felt this election was too important not to address, plus once I got the idea to have all the characters together I really couldn’t resist going for it. J-Pop, Mr. Mystic, & Luscious Trapp On The 100th Conversation Cypher (Censored)

I watched the special features to “X-men: Apocalypse” and saw the infamous “mall scenes” that were cut, and … Yeah they would’ve dragged the movie and needed to be cut. In this part there’s a scene where “Jubilee” uses her powers to keep playing a arcade game instead of quarters. It makes no sense.

In the actual movie it’s weird that she doesn’t to fight “Apocalypse” or even use her powers. It’s strange that she’s just introduced as part of the “new cast of young characters” and then disappears. It seems like they didn’t figure out what to do with her powers. I get that because her powers are usually described as “fireworks” which really makes no sense as fireworks are a man made product.

This is completely off the topic of what this comic is about, but I just have to say “Civil War II” is dumb.  Issue 6 came out last week and the main thing going on is that the guy that predicts the future that everyone is fighting about has a vision of “Spider-Man” (the Miles Morales one) killing “Captain America”.  So because she’s a sane person “Captain Marvel” is like “hey Spider-Man we’re going to take you somewhere to make sure this doesn’t happen”.  “Iron Man” is against this because for plot reasons the guy who can predict the future might be less accurate and “”Spider-Man” is a good kid”.  Then “Black Panther” say something about “Captain America” always being right when he was wrong about the original “Civil War”. If superheroes were real any position against them being registered would be completely insane.

Tomorrow more time travel with Mr. Mystic as he along with Quickie, Hell’s Hunter, and Luscious Trapp discuss the “100th Conversation Cypher” that happened a little over a month ago. Hope you enjoy and see ya then!

Sorry folks the next “The History Of Comics With Q-boy” ( #THoCwQ 61) ain’t done yet. This is picture is some of what I got done so far. Like in the last “The History Of Comics With Q-boy” this comic is based on the work of Robert Crumb.  This is one of my most ambitious comics yet.  It is another double page spread. This first page is one large panel that is based on 6 different images.  I’m done all the actual drawing, but I still have a lot of coloring to do, and I have to do the lettering. Blind Fury On Teasers, Trailers, & Directive Counterbalance

ccc-27-blindfuryMan that “Defenders” show is going to be nuts!  So far “Marvel’s” got 2 A+ shows on “Netflix” with “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones”, and “Luke Cage” is looking pretty sweet from the teaser released at “SanDiego Comic-Con”.  The “Iron Fist” teaser doesn’t really show enough to form much of an opinion about it though. If only we got a “Netflix” “Ghost Rider” show instead of him being on “Agents Of Shield” next season and being completely ruined.

Then there’s that new “Dr. Strange” trailer. Honestly it’s a toss up between that and the “Wonder Woman” trailer as to which is better, but the joke at the of the “Dr. Strange” trailer is the best.

The Innovator, Headmaster Fresh, & Mr. Stretch On People Who Can Predict The Future (Censored)

Early on when coming up with these characters I thought it would be interesting to switch how the “Mr. Fantastic” and “Dr. Doom” characters interacted with each other.  So I made Mr. Stretch obsessed with Dr. Do and supremely arrogant, and generally a lot worse than him.  When you think about it “Dr. Doom” being obsessed with “Mr. Fantastic” is kinda silly.  The guy rules a country.  Weirdly enough with him being part of “The Illuminati”, “Marvel” had made “Mr. Fantastic” more like Mr. Stretch.

That’s it for this week. We start off next week with a new “The History Of Comics With Q-boy” where Q-boy along with The American World Protectors Of America help their teammate The Underwater Monarch with a problem.  Then Tuesday-Thursday new “Criminal And Crimefighter Conversations”.  Hope you enjoy and see ya then!
